I’m Michael Friedlander, owner of Hardhat Photo. Photography has been a lifelong passion, beginning in childhood and continuing to the present day. I studied photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology and was a photographer during my service in the United States Marine Corps.
Hardhat Photo was founded in 2006 while shooting a series of construction jobs for a general contractor client of my wife’s graphic design business. Since then, I’ve photographed numerous residential, commercial, and public works construction projects, and have completed a variety of industrial, architectural, and marketing photography engagements.
